Information and Change Management – How organizations meet the challenges

International organizations have a large amount of knowledge and ideas that are used to develop innovative solutions to address pressing global issues. They offer products and services to a wide range of beneficiaries worldwide. Often these products and services are accompanied by information that is customized to the local needs of their users. But, producing both target-specific and cost-efficient documentation is a challenge. In the content creation process, knowledge-oriented organizations need to promote greater collaboration in the authoring process, integrate contributions from different user groups, and cope with frequent changes and customization of the content. To manage these processes effectively, international organizations can benefit particularly from working in knowledge partnerships and establishing global knowledge networks, but also from utilizing alumni networks through social media. The presentation shared knowledge management solutions and experiences from the private sector that help to address some of these issues.
